Who is responsible
publicspeakinganxiety.net is an independent site and decides for itself what it records. Write to hello@publicspeakinganxiety.net with any question or request about your data.
What we record
We never ask for your name or email to read the guide. To see which parts help, the page records a visit, the page that referred you, how far you scrolled, whether the practice question was on screen, whether you opened it and which app link you used. Each record includes your browser language, operating system, screen and window size, time zone and a random ID kept in your browser. Your IP address gives a rough location and is not stored in full.
Who processes it
Our own server hands these records to an analytics provider that keeps them in the European Union. We use them only to make this guide better, and we never sell them or share them with advertisers.
Health information
The timeline buttons work inside your browser. Which worry you tap is not sent or saved, and the page never asks about your health history.
Storage in your browser
There are no cookies. Your browser keeps the random ID and a session marker. If you block the script, every part of the page still works.
The app links
Each app link goes to /nerve-rep on this site, which reads only your browser's user agent. Android devices are sent on to the Confidently listing on Google Play, with the place on the page you came from added as a referrer; every other device is sent on to the App Store. This step is not logged. In the store, Apple's or Google's terms and the app's own privacy policy apply.
Deleting your data
Email us and we will delete the records linked to your random ID. Clearing this site's storage in your browser breaks that link at once, since we have no other way to know who you are.
